So you should let the pain diagnose itself and find a solution accordingly. This approach differs from the other script based methods out there.
I use this book quite often in my private practice and with good results. I love how the book is laid out and the scripts are easy to tweak as needed.
This second edition of the book is about one third bigger than the original edition. It has all the contents the first book has, plus much more.The book has a a variety of inductions, emerging scripts and scripts for dealing with assortment of situations a hypnotherapist may encounter in his practice. I really like the way it is organized. Very clear and helpful in my practice.
Unless I missed a link somewhere, the digital version doesn't include the audio tracks of the inductions included in the paper version.It's very frustrating and I don't think I would have bought the book had it been explicitly advertised...I'm rather disappointed, Amazon!
Great book on hypnotherapy. Explains how Erickson's theories are applied to the process. Gives detailed scripts.
This book was very informative and has allowed me to better understand the methods involved to write myt own personal scripts. THe layout (two columns ) for the actual scriupts is a little strange to me but you get used to it. I recommen this book to those looking for scriptig ideas or base kowledge.
I use at least one of these scripts with every client that I have. I addition, the way the book is organized into induction scripts, direct & metaphor scripts, and a termination script, allows you to select different inductions from your own work or from another script book and still use the direct and termination scripts in this book that others do not have. I have yet to find a termination script as useful as this one.
